[⭐] A little Backstory: Joel from @thewhiskeyrockspodcast had a fantastic interview with AL LAWS back in May 2024 (Give it a listen!!) and connected us with him. Alex @Bourbonboot brought in 10 different LAWS items for us to taste through since he's a huge supporter as well. We thought there's huge potential so we asked for Barrel Samples and Al obliged! Who knew Al would send one of his OLDEST Barrels (#98 12 Year Old) and a couple fun WHEATED Bourbons which are part of their Experiential Series. Then our amazing friends John & Lorri from @raisingglassesblog brought these Barrels to MA for us with their Magic! [🔥]

[⭐] LAWS Four Grain Bourbon Single Barrel #98 12Yrs 136.4 proof
The Nose has burnt Toffee and Caramel with very interesting notes of Candy Corn and Pink Bubblegum. Try nosing it and let us know if you get it!
The Palate is insanely rich and mellow for 136.4 Proof! For a 12 Year Old, this has plenty of bright fruit Strawberry and Cherry notes -- Think Fruity Pebbles. There are so many layers to this which also include Baking Spices -- Cinnamon / Nutmeg / Vanilla Extract -- Sweet tobacco and leather. Some of the Rye and Wood Spice shine through at the backend. This drinks Sweet and Spicy and continues on and on.
The Mouthfeel is dense and rich.. It'll coat your Palate from start to finish.
