⭐ Introducing our Westland Single Cask #2478 Store Pick!! 🥳 This specific Single Malt uses the "Pale Malt" grown and malted in Washington State. Having access to local barley makes it a unique example of Terroir and the "Grain to Glass" concept. 🤙
⭐ This is an 8 Year American Single Malt by Westland, bottled at Cask Strength of 118 Proof FULLY matured in a PX Sherry Cask! The Nose has aromas of syrupy Raisined Fruits -- think Plums, Figs, and stewed Peaches. It's very inviting for any PX Sherry fan! The Palate has those same sweet dark fruits as well with a noticeable amount of Sulphur on the finish which those Sherry fans will love. There's a subtle White Pepper note in the middle with sweet tobacco / malty undertones towards the end. The Mouthfeel is round and moderately creamy. After sitting in the glass for a few minutes, the viscosity increases and becomes even more dense. The Finish has the consistent plums, figs and sweet leather notes that lingers on your palate. This is a very flavorful Single Malt that can rival other heavily Sherried Single Malts like GlenAllachie 10Yr, Aberlour A'Bunadh, and others! 🔥
